The Pikes Peak Miners AAA Hockey Club accepts only the best families to host our players. Each family is an outstanding member of the community and active in youth sports. All families that host players are screened through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and go through an extensive interview process before becoming eligible. Players will be placed with families that attend high school with other players. This helps the player adapt to the new school environment easier. Pikes Peak Miners AAA Hockey Club is dedicated to ensuring that the players from out of area, receive the best environment possible to not only grow as hockey players, but young men also.   Housing Families Wanted The Pikes Peak Miner "AAA" Hockey Club requires "Housing Families" for the upcoming season for players recruited from across the United States and Canada. These elite athletes, who range in age from 15 to 18 will be on the ice daily, either practicing or playing, as they pursue their dreams of obtaining an NCAA scholarship or advancing to the professional level. They require a caring, comfortable, clean and safe environment that will nurture their development as outstanding hockey players and upstanding young men in the community. Mission Statement The Pikes Peak Miners are the flagship program under the umbrella of Colorado Springs Amateur Hockey Association. The Miners organization prides itself on not only developing hockey players, but also capable students and determined young men. It is the Miners goal to prepare our players for the challenges that lie ahead in hockey, in academia, and in life through discipline, hard work, and determination.
